Attorney Brandon Weaver Featured in Wilkes Journal-Patriot for Super Lawyers ‘Rising Star’ Honor

Attorney Brandon Weaver was featured in a Wilkes Journal-Patriot article for being named a 2019 “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers, an honor only given to 2.5 percent of attorneys who are under the age of 40 years old in each state.

Jule Hubbard, the reporter who wrote the article, discussed Attorney Weaver’s background and family life. As a Wilkes County native who is married with two children, he became the first person in his family to receive a four-year degree and graduated in the top 10 percent of his class from the Campbell University School of Law.

“So even though I worked hard through school to put myself in a position to be the first,” said Brandon in the article. “It was an unknown path and often times I was unsure of the next step to take.”

What made his college years more challenging was the loss of his father, Bobby Weaver, to kidney failure and other health issues in the summer of 2008. However, Brandon persevered to become a personal injury lawyer because he wanted to be a leader in the community.

He said, “I wanted to have the knowledge to help people by giving them a voice. When I looked around, the people who seemed to have the knowledge to shape the world we live in were all lawyers.”

In a recent case, Attorney Weaver helped a client recover $1.6 million in damages. He is committed to helping clients through their most difficult times in order to obtain the justice and compensation they deserve.
